Jim Iyke, a Nollywood actor, has spoken out about his conversion to Islam.
On Wednesday, it was reported that the actor had converted to Islam.
As a result, several Muslims have welcomed him into their faith.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Jim Iyke responded by dismissing the reports, claiming he had no intention of ever converting to Islam.
The viral photographs that sparked the accusation, he claims, were taken from a film he's presently filming in Ghana.
"Let me quickly address the elephant in the room before returning to my specialty." I believe it is vital for me to address a recent rumor.
Someone grabbed an image from a video I did in Ghana on religious fanatics and said I switched my beliefs.
"I accept all religions and have no desire to convert my faith at any time." I'm completely dedicated to my beliefs. "I don't know why people do these things, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed," he stated.
