New election dates were published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday.
At a news conference in Abuja, the commission's national chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, announced this.
He claims that the new date for the presidential and national assembly elections is Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Elections for state houses of assembly and governor will take place on March 11, 2023.
