A accusation made against Lloyd Ukwu, a member and supporter of the pro-democracy group, by Dele Alake, a Special Advisor to the President-elect Bola Tinubu, has been refuted by Ralph Obioha, a former head of the defunct National Democratic Coalition, NADECO, in North America.
Obioha emphasized that the former NADECO leader was not a fraud and that Alake's comment about Ukwu was malicious and a tirade.
After convening a news conference to discredit the recently ended presidential election, Alake had referred to Ukwu as an impostor.But, the disbanded pro-democracy organization's US chapter had cut links with Ukwu's actions.
Obioha emphasized that Ukwu had the right to express his political views, nevertheless.
Obioha disagreed with Alake's assertion that Ukwu was a NADECO pillar when the organization was operational.
A press release from Dele Alake, Bola Tinubu's special adviser, entitled "Public notice on sinister agenda on NADECO impostor, Lloyd Ukwu in the United States of America," caught Obioha's attention.
