In response to Manchester United's interest in the Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen of Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain has entered the battle to sign him.
This season, Osimhen has been in sensational form for Napoli, tallying 21 goals in 26 games across all competitions.
He presently holds the Serie A record for most goals scored with 19, and his 19 goals helped Luciano Spalleti's team sail to the top of the standings on a "impregnable" sail.
Since then, Osimhen has drawn interest for his services from all across Europe, with numerous Premier League clubs keeping an eye on the striker.The most persistent English bidder in the race to sign the highly coveted forward has been Manchester United, though Chelsea and Newcastle have also entered the fray.
