Residents of Abuja Phase 1 in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital, have been severely flooded as a result of the rain that fell in the early hours of Monday.
According to information obtained by Vanguard, the rain began at one in the morning and continued for several hours, flooding certain areas of the Jalingo metropolis.
The victims, who are now requesting government assistance, bemoaned the loss of a significant amount of their goods to the flood.
