Ever since the arrest of notorious kidnapper Evans in Lagos, the federal government and Nigerian police have been on the trail of others in this same line of business.
Such was the case of Don Waney, a notorious kidnapper and Niger Delta militant. The young man, who was reported killed by early January 2018, has his house demolished by the federal government.
Late Waney’s home was demolished on Tuesday morning, January 9, at Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of the state.
It was earlier reported that the demolition took place under supervision of heavily-armed security agents, who mounted the guard at different angles of the militant’s extravagant home. An eye witness recounts that soldiers and policemen in over 15 Hilux vans were brought to the scene to stop any intruder from hindering their operation.
