Many have sustained an injury in an accident involving a moving train, a Lagos state Staff bus, on Thursday morning in the Shogunle area of Ikeja.
It was discovered that the train was closing in while the blue staff bus was attempting to cross. The train's magnet dragged it to Shogunle, where it stopped, from the PWD bus stop.
According to witnesses, the driver was stopped at the level crossing but refused to move when told to do so.
According to Babs who witnessed the accident, when the keepers of NRC at that level Crossing stopped the driver from passing because of the incoming train he refused. He thought he could pass before the coming of the train.”
