The dust from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Faculty of Agriculture's move from Ogbomoso to Iseyin hasn't completely settled.
One of the tertiary institutions that the Oyo State government owns is LAUTECH.
It was given the Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola name since he served as the Premier of the erstwhile Western Region.
Up until a few years ago, Oyo and Osun states shared ownership and control of the institution; it was then transferred to the Oyo state government.
According to the BEVIBESHUB, Governor Seyi Makinde recently established a campus of LAUTECH in Iseyin town, which will house the faculty of agriculture. the Iseyin campus, christened College of Agricultural Science and Renewable Natural Resource, is situated along Iseyin-Okeho road.
