Lekan Osifeso Jnr, a popular Nigerian singer who goes by the stage name Lojay, has credited Grammy-winning artist Wizkid as his inspiration and role model. Lojay stated that Wizkid has significantly influenced his musical style, and he looks up to him as a source of motivation.

In a separate incident, Lojay recently spoke about a violent altercation with his ex-girlfriend in which she stabbed him with a fork and smashed his head with a kettle.
Lojay went on to reveal that the altercation escalated further when his ex-girlfriend smashed a kettle on his head. He said, "She smashed the kettle on my head and I was down on the floor. I remember just being in so much pain and feeling so weak, and I was trying to crawl to the door."
Despite the traumatic experience, Lojay said he has moved on and has learned from the experience. He also shared that he has channeled his pain into his music, which has helped him heal and grow as an artist.
