14 People Die In A Road Accident In Bauchi - FRSC Confirms

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) state command in Bauchi has reported that a deadly road accident that occurred today resulted in the deaths of fourteen (14) people.

Yusuf Abdullahi, the paramilitary agency's Bauchi Sector Commander, verified the tragic occurrence on Thursday at the state capital while reading out a Road Traffic Crash (RTC) report.
According to Abdullahi, the car accident on the Bauchi-Darazo road occurred in the town of Zangoro.

He reported that five additional people were hurt in the collision, which occurred today at at 12:17 p.m., in varied degrees.
Abdullahi revealed that a private Chevrolet and a Golf 3 Wagon with the license plate AJ507GWA were both involved in the collision.


The corps soldiers cleared the accident site and collected N73,000, seven phones, one power bank, and four small purses, which the commander blamed on a speeding driver.

Nineteen people—10 female adults, seven male adults, one female child, and one male child—were involved in the deadly traffic accident.

According to the FRSC sector commander, "Fourteen of them lost their lives on the spot, including 10 female adults, two male adults, one male child, and one female child."

According to Abdullahi, the bodies of the deceased and the injured have been sent to the Bauchi Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital for identification and medical care.

He urged drivers to follow the law when operating a vehicle on the road.
